SLIDING SCALE GUIDE

We are committed to being as accessible as possible, as well as providing educators a living wage. We find that it can be a tricky balance to strike—but do our best by charging along a sliding scale. (See below). This allows families to decide for themselves what is financially manageable, within a limited range of what we can afford to offer. In our first year of operation, the EEC only permits us to care for a total of 6 children addition to our own 2. Once we can upgrade our license to include more kids in the coming years, we hope to be able to offer lower levels on our sliding scale.

We trust you to decide what is manageable for your family and pay what you are able. Please find your total household income in the chart below and use that to help you reach a decision.

We won't ask you about your finances. We only ask that before deciding what you will pay, that you take a few moments to reflect. (Are you employed full-time? Are you choosing to work part-time or for relatively low pay? Do you have access to savings, investments, retirement accounts, and/or inherited money?) Families who are able to pay more allow us to include others who cannot.

Payments can be made either:

  1. By paying for the session in full, no later than the start of the program.

  2. With 3 monthly payments due by the first of each month.
